Friday was our anniversary, so we decided we would take the train to NYC for a night away from the kids.
Hubby had taken the day off so we arrived in the city just before 2, checked into the hotel, The W Hotel Tuscany, wonderful choice made by our new friend Marcello. We walked around, did some shopping, then headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.
We went down to the bar in the hotel for a cocktail, while we waited for Marcello to meet us, he arrived, we had another drink and then headed out for dinner. We had a lovely meal and then went over to Lotus, sat had drinks and talked. We walked around, M pointed out sites of interest, and then gave us a ride back to the hotel. We thanked M and said good night.
I, not being much of a drinker, was feeling very good, we made love and fell asleep in each others arms.
Saturday, we went to the Museum of Sex (Marcello highly recommended), took alot of pics, we had a great time.
We did all the tourist things, hit Little Italy, Ferrara Bakery and Cafe was great, Time Square, Rockefeller Center, and two street fairs.
We, reluctantly, took the 7pm train home.
My birthday is in November, I think I know what I want
to do.

When Owen and I went to NYC, we were walking past Playboy Enterprises and he had to take a picture...of the sign...for the guys at work. He's such a goose. And I don't know how we missed the Museum of Sex, that's on the list for next time!
